ECO V10
This is a versatile low density thermoplastic polyamide alloy powder with exceptionally high abrasion resistance, excellent melt flow, rapid crystallisation, low coefficient of friction and shore D hardness 75. ECO V10 is the coating powder of choice in automotive, electrical and white goods applications requiring low friction, high heat and electric resistance such as in Bus Bars and Switch Gear.
ECO V10 can be dyed and is used in lingerie metal coating accessories. This powder exhibits very good anti-static properties in prolong powder tank fluidisation as well as exceptionally low moisture uptake. For data sheets please click.
ECO 100
Offering all the properties of ECO 600, this grade is manufactured for spray coating applications by flocking or typical electrostatic spray gun set at 40 kv and at 200c (390F) heating for 10 minutes. It is a much finer and controlled powder particle size grade of ECO 600. For data sheets please click.
PAP 6100
This is a pigmented polyamide thermoplastic polymer alloy supplied in granule form for extrusion coating automotive cables as well as rounded, spiral and hook & eye wires. This polymer exhibits good adhesion to the base metal substrate and can be dyed whilst offering much higher moisture resistance than typical nylon 6 coatings. For data sheets please click
ECO 600
This is a versatile low density thermoplastic polymer alloy with exceptional long term self-adhesion to clean mild steel, aluminium and stainless steel. No base primer is required for bonding ECO 600 coating to mild steel, aluminium or stainless steel. Parts coated in ECO 600 can resist boiling water whilst offering very good cold impact resistance. ECO 600 has exceptionally low moisture absorption (up to 10 times lower than nylons) and the best in any thermoplastic polymer category and for this reason cannot be dyed and acts as a superb anti-graffiti coating.
Parts coated over a decade ago in ECO 600 still exhibit exceptional adhesion of the coating to the substrate. This powder grade offers the best quality to cost value for money and is available in both electrostatic powder spray as well as fluidise dip coating grade. We are proud to state not a single self adhesive thermoplastic powder on the market can surpass the durability and long term adhesion of ECO 600 applied on a shot basted degreased mild steel or aluminium. TPA 600
This is a highly flexible and versatile low density coating powder exhibiting long term self adhesion to mild as well as galvanised steel. With elongation exceeding 500%, this coating grade offers freeze cold impact resistance up to -25c (-13F), toughness and impact up to 70c (158F). Application of this powder grade is both domestic and industrial and too broad to mention suffice as to say tubular structures, storage tanks, pipe and fittings, street furniture, battery boxes, complex welded wire works, etc. Long term adhesion of TPA 600 to aluminium is exceptional and for this reason a fine powder version is available for extrusion coating paper onto aluminium foil at high process speeds as well as a tie layer for bonding dissimilar polymers in packaging applications. ECO 2
This pigmented self adhesive thermoplastic polymer alloy is supplied in granule form specifically for extrusion coating flat wires, corset metal bones, pipes and tubes. This high viscosity grade offers exceptional long term self adhesion to mild steel, flexibility, low friction with exceptionally low moisture absorption and boiling water resistance. This polymer offers a low density and exceptional value and can be supplied as extruded tape for wrapping on welded steel pipe joints. For data sheets please click @
As a first priority, pipes and fittings, cooling water lines in ships, and pipelines in wastewater treatment plants and power plants must be permanently protected against corrosion. A typical 500 micron coating thickness of self-adhesive TPA powder ensures this essential protection. The coating shows very good chemical resistance to such operating media as grease, oils, and hydraulic fluids. ECO 600 ,TPA 600 and ECO V10 exhibit excellent stress crack and wear resistance.
Intechem thermoplastic powders have an indefinite shelf life and can be stored at room temperature for many years. Our polymer powders do not contain cross link agents and do not undergo chemical cross linking even at elevated storage or processing temperatures. No special storage consideration is required other than good housekeeping and away from direct sun light. Prolonged process temperatures above 350c /662F should be avoided.
